The same description was used for the recent S9 firmware update. I assume it's probably something to do with wi-fi functionality.

I'm just shocked that the S5 is now 5 years old. And still a ripper of a camera. I'll quite possibly try out the new firmware tonight, if I get a chance. 5 years hey.

Yeah, I agree. Its image quality is still probably the best of the 24Mp cameras (or at least, a good as any other) and unless you needed AF for rapidly moving subjects, it’s focusing is good enough.
