So, Flagstaff hill. The story behind it, involving the chopping down of the flagstaff on no less than 4 occasions by a certain Hone Heke, is quite the part of NZ history
I was a little bit cheeky, and asked a couple of the Maori folks who were also visiting there, if they'd brought along an axe. Luckily, it was met with a few laughs and good humor My Sisters were a little bit nervous he he he he.

My pleasure. And I mean that New Zealand has a very short history of human settlement in the grand scheme of things, especially if you compare it with the likes of most of Europe, or China for example, but it's actually quite interesting. Well, I think so anyway Glad you enjoyed it.

Edit -the history of Russel, of which I posted a couple of photos of a page back, is also a little bit interesting. It's quite close to the spot where the Waitangi test was signed. Wandered around there a few years back, but that was m4/3 days

Superb sharpness in this, an expensive lens could only render it differently. The S Pro are apparently like this, they have an oooommmppphhh

But perhaps hard to tell...

Try bokeh landscapes with your Pro 70-200 f4, against the grain but can work. This stuff could be where that lens shines a little brighter.

I can’t see any meaningful difference in IQ between the 24-105 and the 70-200 f4 Pro in the focal lengths where they overlap.

Good stuff but like I suggested for bokeh in video or something at 70-105mm overlap, if the 70-200 is at least as good then kudos as it goes to 200mm. I'd still love a comparison just for the look, not sharpness.
