Brawler is a Martial Arts Action Short Film Shot on the Panasonic Lumix S5.

This was the first time I/we used this camera system. Always been a fan of the full frame look, but never the full frame price After a lot of researching and countless video reviews/examples, everything pointed to this camera. And I've got to say, It didn't disappoint!

Happy to answer any questions you may have about the camera, filming and post production side of things.

Looks very nice!

Love the tension:

And technology looking at it: love the colors.

Edited/graded in DaVinci Resolve?

Thanks, Nevyn!

This was actually the very first time I stayed inside Resolve for both edit and grade on a project. I'd usually edit in Premiere Pro then roundtrip with Resolve. A lot of learning curves to overcome mainly due to user interface!

I switched several years ago from PP to DR, and never looked back.

Use it for Editing, grading and more and more also for sound design.

But for me it's a hobby, mostly use it for vlogging, interviews and sometimes blue screen stuff.

You were def ahead of the curve by switching - I wouldn't go back unless Resolve no longer existed!

Yes, sound design too. Love the mastering tools.

What kind of vlogs do you create?

They are in dutch (although many with subtitles) about vacations, cities, trips.

But mostly also an excuse to play with DaVinci en getting better in it.
Here and example from last year:

Makes me want to go to these places! I think you should consider approaching travels agents and hotel resorts for their promo videos. You def have an eye for this

But who knows: perhaps in the future part time.

But I'm very happy we have a new videographer in our mids ...

I don't know the film festival circuit here that well, and what would fit with martial arts. If I do see something I'll drop you a note.
