St. Eadburgha's Church, Broadway by Paul Kaye, on Flickr

The church has an interesting history.

Love that second shot!
Thanks. Paul, it was done with the 40mm Voigtländer manual lens (for Nikon F). They have something speciall: sharp in the middle, some vignetting and the color tones are somehow different to the other lenses. I find them interesting for portraits.

My wife and I recently went on an ultimate road trip to Germany and Poland, and our first vlog about it is now online:

Enjoy watching, and a tip: it also looks very good on a 4K TV

It did look good on my 4K tv Daumenhoch Smilie. Finally home today from our 3 week 5500km roadtrip through Poland. We visited the Baltic coast, Gdansk, Warsaw, Krakow, Auschwitz, Wroclaw but also Tatra mountains (Zakopane) and Masurian lakes. Lot of history and nature, and country-roads which we only use for farming roads in NL instead of connecting villages. Loved the vacation, but happy to be back also.

Wow! 5500 km. Now that’s a road trip!

And on another note, my current project is motoring along quite nicely. Getting somewhat close to finish welding, a bit of a clean-up, and off to the painters.

Getting ready to check fit up of rear stabilisers. I love it when a project all comes together, and everything fits up exactly as envisaged and designed.

Like I wrote previously, I suspect I use my camera quite differently than most, a lot of the time. :) :)
