*** April 2026 Image & Video Thread ***

It's Autumn here in Australia and the past week here in Sydney has brought some nice sunsets. This shot is from my backyard.

So after yesterday's rain, I decided to try finding rain droplets with my Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 Macro, since I hadn't taken it out in a while...

(Sadly, it's a little too heavy to be comfortable on the Sigma fp. :( )

Several days ago I went for a hike on the "Memaloose Hill Trail" near the south rim (Oregon side) of the Columbia River Gorge. Not a cloud in the sky. Beautiful views of Mt. Hood (further south) and other Cascade Range peaks.

Ooooh.

Several of the Cascade mountains are on my bucket list to visit, and Hood is near the top of my list. ;)

Last weekend went with the kids to the "shipping" museum in Amsterdam, with the VOC ship in front. We went there by train

I previously posted a similar view of Portland's waterfront skyline, snapped using my iPhone 16 looking through plate glass windows of a OHSU hospital building's 11th floor.

I snapped these today from the same building, but up on the 16th floor, standing out on a balcony (no glass obscuring the view), and with my S5iiX with the Kolari OLPF installed.
