***April 2025 Image and Video Thread***

I live in the south-west of Madrid but I work in the north-east, so when the huge blackout hit on Monday I had quite a way to go to get home, and without the metro system I usually use and with higher levels of traffic and bus passengers due to the lack of metro. I got a bus to the north-east of the city centre, walked across the centre, which took 40 minutes, and then got another bus. Here are a few shots from the 40 minute walk, all using the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8, which I'm coming to like.

Which adaptor do you use Jonathan? And how is the AF?

I use the CommLite adpater. I find it works very well. I had the Sigma briefly but it worked with very few lenses, of the one I had only the 50/1.8 STM. The CommLite works much better but isn't quite as well built, but still it's plenty good enough. I think the AF is limited more by the focus motors in the EF lenses that I have rather than the adapter. I could compare them with focus speed on my 6D but given how old that is I doubt it's the fastest-focusing DSLR so not a very useful comparison.
