Good morning all.
I’m in search for a fix to an issue with my Sigma 24-70 f2.8 dg dn that I use on my Lumix S1R. So the Issa that I’ve been experiencing recently is when zooming out from any focal length greater than 27mm and ice 27mm is reached, the focal length readout jumps back to 70mm and focus goes haywire. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cleaning the contacts ? On both the lens and camera. If the issue persists with this lens, and all your other lenses work fine then the Sigma lens needs service.

Sounds like either poor contact between camera and lens, or something is broken. If possible, I'd try this:

- Cleaning the contacts on the lens and body
- Trying another camera body and lens to see if the problem is in one or the other

If these fail, I think you need to send the lens off to Sigma.
