I think that is an interesting piece of news... that SIRUI 40mm AF anamorphic lens is really interesting for video creators:

"According to SIRUI’s founder and CEO, Li Jie, joining the L-Mount Alliance is a huge step forward. “SIRUI is set to significantly enhance the L-Mount Alliance lens ecosystem,” Jie said. “Our aim is to introduce a broader range of outstanding, high-value L-mount lenses to the market.”

I would have preferred Blazar since their AF Anamorphic delivers a more pleasing anamorphic look.
But yeah the first AF Anamorphics fo L-mount are coming, and that is a nice thing to have Z04 Breakdance.gif

Also relevant to photographers as Sirui make photographic lenses. I think they make a trio of f/1.2 primes for Fujifilm but all the reviews I've seen said that the lenses make the cameras crash...

Presumably as a legit member of the alliance nothing like that would happen. Hopefully they won't do a Samyang and not deliver anything.

I have reviewed their 1.2 AF (all three) Fuji version and it was ok? I didn't have any crashes. Seems pretty stable.
Mine was preproduction sample as well.

Sirui is pretty aggressive in terms of product development so I am pretty sure they will deliver many more lenses than Samyang ,. Which is not hard to be honest

There will be a lot of L mount AF lenses coming this year! Should be a great year for L mount users

I just read that the first lens to be available will be the Aurora 85mm f/1.4, which for Sony costs around $500. The same price on L-mount would, I think, be the cheapest 85/1.4 there is.

The Meike 85/1.4 is around the same price or even cheaper as the Sirui in Europe. Would be a nice comparison between both budget options. The Sigma 85mm art is about double the price.
