I had to take my newly-acquired Pentax SMC K 50mm f/1.2 out for some test shots, of course obeying the law that all shots on an f/1.2 lens must be taken wide open for the first month of ownership. It didn't disappoint - I was shocked how sharp the lens is in the centre when focus was spot-on.

I slightly missed focus on the rapidly-moving bee in the second shot but this was the best of a bunch I took trying to get one of the little buzzers in focus.
