Welcome! My daughter is living in Leiden at the moment!
I also love sunsets and would like to do more timelapses. Here's the only one I've done so far:
I made many, but this is the first one I processedHope you can post some Greece sunsets.![]()
I have the camera on full manual, multi-zone metering and underexpose about 2 stops to not clip the sky too much. The S5 has no problem recovering the foreground, even on electronic shutterHow do you set exposure for a day? Manual/fixed iso? Highlight weighted?
I've done only a few timelapses, but I did them in Aperture Priority mode, center weighted, 5 seconds interval.I have the camera on full manual, multi-zone metering and underexpose about 2 stops to not clip the sky too much. The S5 has no problem recovering the foreground, even on electronic shutter. I usually use iso 100, f8, and keep increasing shutter speed until about 2 seconds (4 seconds interval). After reaching 2 seconds exposure I start increasing iso/opening the lens. In this case I had an 6 stop ND filter, but that got me into a bit of problems when it was getting dark. I liked the long exposure times though to blur the people walking by.
