I'd welcome your suggestions, experiences & reasoning as to, which L Mount lenses would make good lenses for talking head YouTube videos

I'll mostly use the 50mm F1.8 for that... sometimes with enough space the 85mm F1.8.

For two people in the frame: 35mm F1.8

Check the channel "Lost Lakes" on YouTube. Jon's got an episode where he discusses his camera gear, which currently includes an S5 and an S5II along with a modest arsenal of LUMIX and Sigma lenses. I know he's shooting the Sigma 100-400 zoom, along with I *think* the 50mm 1.8 prime. Jon used to work at Black's Camera in Toronto, which is where he developed his chops.

In my not-at-all-humble opinion, it's one of the best looking, most cinematic channels on YouTube. But then again, I've got a weakness for wilderness canoe-tripping.

Nevyn, I see from your gear list that you own the Sigma 16-28mm F2.8 lens. What do you think of this lens, and would it be any good for video work, in your opinion?
I quite like wide angle photography and the altered perspective it delivers, I used to own the Sigma 8-16mm APSC lens with the Pentax 3 and loved the way it warped reality.
I'm toying with either the Panasonic 18mm or 24mm F1.8 primes for video or, something like the Sigma 16-28mm F2.8 or Panasonic 24-60mm F2.8 zooms for videography.

I love that lens, I use it mostly for my 2-set vacation kit (together with the 28-200).

I've used the lens quite a lot for vlogs, it is also really suitable for low light.

A good example is this video, it's in dutch but with subtitles in many languages:
