Hello to all dear Lumix users. My name is sakis. I come from Athens Greece. I am into photography from 2010 I thin and 2012 I got my Olympus pen camera that I gave away. Since then I got a Nikon v1 and then the gx85 from 2015 or so. 2017 I got a Sony a7s that the night photos are so clean with less noise but the menu sucks in comparison with the gx85. so recently I got the s5ii with the 18-40 and the pergear 35mm 1.4 to have the full frame light but with the new features and menu of the lumix.
I am also thinking to start shoot semi professional and I am looking for lens to pair my 18-40 also. any recommendations by the way? I am looking the Samyang 35-100 and the 24-60+ 70-300 for now.
I usually shoot with primes due to low light but I will try the zoom lenses so I will have some lens stick on the body.
*I got the 100-300 ii for the gx85 and I love to shoot telephoto landscapes lately when I got the small camera in hand but the way.
I just found out the forum from Robin Wong and I want to learn all the tricks from the s5ii.
Thank you

Welcome Sakis. Looking forward to seeing some of your photos.

Hello Paul, thank you, that's a photo from Athens Greece. This is the look from my area as I went for walking with the dog.I took the photo fast and I didn't bother too much about the settings. It's a photo to test the 18-40mm lens. let me know you like anything in the photo or if I overedited it :D

Hi sakis and welcome to the forum!

Regarding your question about lenses, one of the forum members here (@Jan.Wedekind) created an interactive L-mount lens table that you might find usefu. Here is the link:

Hi Sakis - I don't know what the limits are, sorry. I normally post my images as "BBCode" links from Flickr. There is no limit if you do that.

Embedding images was a problem for me too after registration.
There is a help page for this forum, but it isn't easy to find it. You can embed a link to an image with the [IMG]...[/IMG]
tags.
If you want to embed an image from Google Photos, that post will help you.

like this? I don't know why the link of the photo looks small!

The best thing to do is:

1) Go to your picture in Flickr:

Then click on the "Share" arrow (circled in red above).

2) Click on the "BBCode" link section:

3) Copy the entirety of the string in the box. The string looks like this:

4) Paste this string into the forum. I've done this below. It'll look like text, but once you post the message, the forum will insert the image for you.

Ideally, insert a blank line between the "[/url]" and "[url=" in the middle of the pasted line. This will put the title underneath the image rather than to the right of it (I wish Flickr would fix this)!

Lens E 50mm F2.... Loxia ?
No,I am sorry. I recently made a Flickr account again as I lost access to to my old one.
This shot was with a viltrox 50mm air.
It’s also shot on a Sony a7s in the summer time. I just posted the photos to see how it functions to the forum as I wasn’t aware of this. The only photo with the Panasonic s5ii so far is the first one that you can see the city as the rest are in an island and I didn’t have the lumix yet as I bought the camera last month.
