First and foremost, I want to send a shout-out to "Pete_W" all the way in Australia !!! I ran into Pete on another forum, in an L-Mount / Pana section of the forum...and he thought it best for me to check out the forum here also. So far so good, seems pretty cool.. Definitely looking forward to seeing some images + videos, for sure. I am "fairly" new to the L-Mount system, I am a current S5ii owner, and a current S9 owner, shooting the 24-105 F4 and the 50mm 1.8 -As of late I've just been testing out and trying different things on the S9, and will probably use the rest of this week to conclude tests, basically putting the camera thru it's paces, and from there I'm just going to create freely, normally. I have other camera systems but, I own and love Panasonic also, maybe even more. I guess that's it for now, looking forward to seeing everyone's images and video, looking forward to learning more, especially in the areas of lenses !!! I have some thoughts I want to ask for sure ! Talk soon !

Greetings! Good to see you, and interested in hearing what you have to say about the S9.

The S9 is a camera that would be very tempting for me if it had an EVF... but after many bad experiences with cameras that didn't have an EVF, where bright sunlight washes out the rear screen - to the point where I was effectively shooting blind - I swore never to buy a camera without one again. How is the rear screen working for you on the S9? Have you had problems in bright sunlight?

Great to see you here, @TOPSHELFJUNIOR !! Thanks for the shout-out! Daumenhoch Smilie

This is a great forum, lots of information on L-mount lenses and cameras. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos and videos!

Hey Travis, so far so good on the S9. And I've been shooting it in several places, shade + direct sunlight, and I haven't had any issues seeing the screen. I saw a guy who says he keeps his brightness on +3 and is fine, I happen to keep my brightness on +5, and it's been fine. Feel like all of my GH4 - GH5 - GH6 - S5ii screens were the same way. Panasonic kinda has it figured out I think.

Thanks man. This is downtown Los Amgeles, on Broadway and 7th. One of my favorite areas to shoot.. Always people around, ton of neon and lights at night, bunch of old buildings still standing, always just movement down there.
Ooh, nice! I was reminded of some areas of downtown Wichita, particularly with the historic buildings.

Downtown Kansas City has a very different feel. :)

It certainly has lots of character, I really love it.
