First few from the Vosges, France and I had to try out the 28-200. And it is looking good! From now on I won't have hesitations to bring it.

Hungry duck gone fishy. original + 100% crop. Never could have taken this without this lens as I won't go carrying a 70-300 on a 6km walk for just in case you see a duck eating a fish

Yes, I'm now a French citizen - but there was nothing in the naturalisation process about the habits and meal preferences of canards! However, I have a few recipe books that tell me how to cook them! :)

Walk to/around Le Grand Ballon, Vosges (highest mountain of that region). We could see Mont. Black from the top.

I must say, that LUMIX 28-200 is a great travel lens. Really really like it. Sharp enough closed down. Good OIS. Shouldn’t have hesitated so long. And the €699 I paid for it brand new is a great price/performance/usability ratio.

Are my other lenses in the same focal range “better”? Sure! But this is more then good enough for outdoor snapshots.
