7Artisans is rumored to announce a 135mm f1.8 AF lens soon. What makes that lens somehow special is the minimum focusing distance of only 0.63 m. That's very close for a 135mm f1.8. For comparison, the Panasonic 85mm f1.8 has about 0.8 m and is a shorter focal length.

Finally an alternative to the old Sigma

If the price in nice (7-artisan should be), not to heavy and goed IQ, than i'm interested

If the weight is right…. Keep in mind that the Viltrox z-mount weighs in at 1.2kg+

The 1.2kg Viltrox in z-mount also has a 82mm front

The Sigma isn't light either. Maybe with the plastic body it will gain some grams Daumenhoch Smilie

The rumors say 985 grams... If true than it would be great

Good to see a 135mm prime available though I would have much preferred a smaller and lighter f/2.8 or even f/3.5.

My beloved Fuji XF90/2 had a weight of 540g. Quite heavy for an aps-c prime lens. But what a weight contrast to this.

Would love to see a smallish 135/2.5 LUMIX. Preferably 1:1 macro capability. For now my 100/2.8 will have to suffice.

I already watched some reviews of the Z mount version. It looks pretty good to me. This could be my next lens.

At over a kilo that pretty much rules it out for travel and general purpose, which is a shame.

Otherwise, if your main concern is to save weight you don't look for a fast 135mm lens.

As I've already stated, I'd prefer something slower in order to get the size and weight down.

The L-Mount version should be released/ presented today

I've looked at a few reviews, but I've barely found any normal portraits. There's something else here..
